And finally, today's dumb criminal takes us to North Miami, where police say 26-year-old Cornelius Douglas responded to a Facebook Marketplace ad for a $2,200 soothing link saying.

Now, according to the arrest report, Douglas met the seller, showed him what appeared to be a cash app confirmation, proving he had paid for the chain and that the seller placed it around his neck.

So far, pretty standard scam.

Only afterwards did the seller realize that the cash app payment confirmation was fake.

Police later identified Douglas through a photo lineup, which probably wasn't made hard by the fact that he had just asked the victim to film him wearing the stolen merchandise.

And apparently this wasn't his first Marketplace adventure.

Police say that back in June, Douglas and Evelyn used a similar tactic to steal a Cujo watch from another seller, then reportedly pawned the luxury watch for just $300.
