So with acne, like, we're gonna go into the complexities today, and today's top podcast title is your acne, is your acne hormonal or is something else driving it? 'Cause honestly, acne, I don't know how to say this, like, this sounds not very profess- But acne can be a little bitch to treat.
Like, it's not- Oh.
It is not a straightforward, like, this is the answer.
It's, like, you can have people with the same driving markers.
Like, I've even got a friend messaging me at the moment, and she's got, like, high androgens but then, like, it looks like an adrenal pitch.
Like, there's just, it's complex.
Which is, I guess, the crux of what we really wanna go through today is, you know, what is driving this acne.
Mm-hmm.
And a lot of the time when we think of h- acne, we think just hormones.
Mm.
Is it just hormones? Yes, hormones for sure can have a big role, but that's just one piece of the puzzle.
Mm.
And it's actually viewing acne as a more chronic inflammatory- Yeah ... condition.

Yeah.
So it's not people with endo will have acne, but a lot of people with endo w- cus- can see acne- Yeah ... because of that infla- inflammation picture.
Yeah.
And I guess what we really want to emphasize on, and e- even in with the Wellness Hub and the way that we've really delic- delicately selected and curated recipes to support acne, these are our foundations and our pillars we always want to start with.
Mm.
Like, if we think of- And- ... building a house, that's the structure.
And then, yeah, and then when we're, obviously because we're so individual in how we respond- Mm ... and, and what's driving it, obviously we always wanna get to the root cause.
That's where we wanna look at adding in the furniture- Mm ... which might be driving and looking into more stool testing, more comprehensive hormone testing- Mm ... and, uh, looking into that.
So if you're listening today and you have acne, we want to start with these foundations, which- Mm ... we'll go through today, but it is really important to find your individual drivers- Yeah ... because there's no one-size-fits-all.
