**This Week on Pure Dead Gaming** From the humble beginnings of dodgy mic setups and midnight editing… to the big 300. We’ve survived console wars, game delays. We’ve laughed, we’ve argued, we’ve…
Speaking of a trophy for an achievement, though, there's big news on that this

all get excited.
I

Look, I think this might be Andy's jumping on point.
Nearly jumped out of my tuxedo there.
Maybe yours as
well.
But I think we spoke of this before, but Xbox... are planning
to introduce the equivalent of a platinum trophy.
Oh, yes.
So at the moment, every Xbox game has 1,000 gamerscore.
Mm-hmm.
But it's broken up in many different ways.
Each achievement can be as little as five, or it can be as much as, I think, 200.
Right.
And...
Your gamer score is like an overall cumulative number, but you don't have any sort of indication as to how many games you actually 100%ed.
So with trophies, you'll have a certain amount of trophies, but then you've got like 100 Platinum, so there's 100 games that you have 100%ed.
But with Xbox, it doesn't have
that.
What a shame.
Well, it is a shame.
