PGA pro Peyton Foshee joins the show for a deep dive into golf, wellness, faith, and his personal journey. Get a clear, behind-the-scenes look at life as a golf instructor, living with ADHD, and…
So Lauren, can you tell us a little bit more?
Yeah, so I think that sometimes when people hear that Peyton is a PGA golf coach, that they think he's just a really great player, which he is.
He is a really good player.
He's very hard on himself.
He always thinks he can do better and he can be better, but he is a great player.
It takes years to get through it.
And the courses that Peyton had to go through to even get to the PGA, absolutely crazy, which I'll have him talk a little bit more about some of the courses.
But when Peyton and I first started dating, he actually... was in like the second half of his PGA program.
And I remember studying with him and some of the things that he had to study and some of the things that he had to do was absolutely crazy.
So you heard him talk about his coach that he had, that he worked with.
He took a test called the PAT.
And Peyton, I'll let you kind of explain what the PAT is.
And there's lots of different courses that you go into.
So Peyton, if you could just briefly tell everyone what the PAT is, how you studied for that, and then we'll go back into the PGA program.
Essentially, that is one of the components required for you to become a PGA professional, essentially.
But the PAT, back when I did it, back when the dinosaurs were around, my target score was 75-75.
And percentage-wise, that's less than about 0.5% of the population of golfers can
do that.
