Mostly because Brian Gilbert gave me the week off again this week from the podcast as he continues his journey through the new Kansas State basketball staff.
This week, making a stop with the youngest assistant coach on the staff, maybe the youngest full-time assistant coach in Kansas State history, Luke Smith, who was a sharpshooting player himself, was on the staff of Casey Alexander at Belmont, and now makes a transition to Kansas State.
He's got five assistant coaches listed on his staff, and this is one of the first hires he made.
And this is a very interesting interview because both these dudes are 26 years old, and they Living in a college town, pretty good lives.
