I'm Steve Layman, play-by-play voice at Belmont Men's Basketball and the sports anchor at News Channel 5 in Nashville.

Hope you're ready for a new school year.

You know, the one that comes to mind, and Greg will laugh about that, but was the craziness when we were in the first four down in Dayton and we got that first NCAA tournament win.

And just for a minute, post-game, Moose is doing his post-game interview.

We're about to go in the locker room, and I get to see all the former Belmont men's basketball players in the stands are made their way to the court just because they were so proud and so excited for that group.

And to see Coach Bird – and president Dr. Fisher down on the court side and how excited everybody was.
