And I think many women have come out.

There was the whole Me Too movement, right? And some and some homosexual photographer, Bruce Weber, was fingered in that Abercrombie and Fitch, which was also owned by Les Wexner.

And that whole male model and Abercrombie and Fitch kind of sexy look that was all designed by that Jean-Luc Brunet Brunei or whatever his name was.

Bruce Weber was the photographer for for Calvin Klein at the time.

So it was it was it was kind of incestuous, all of that stuff.

And I was on the periphery.

And that's how I learned to be a makeup artist.

I'd look at other people's things and I would see girls like jumping outside that Bruce Weber shot.

And she looked like she had no makeup on.

But the light hit her a certain way.

This was a reel that went pretty viral talking about basically the sort of the dissonant tones between The variety of marketing campaigns is from Clayton Chambers of Spreza.

And he basically is highlighting the fact that they have been pushing this like very Bruce Weber coded, like 90s Abercrombie look over the past few months to get back to that 90s prep look.

nostalgia so it's like it's young people and they're all fit and they kind of look like they're at summer camp and it's very you know it's very like americana uh vibes in that way uh here here are some of the photos right there from those those sort of campaigns and now this new emma chamberlain push feels trendy and modern and uh it even has like an like a little bit of an edge to it right yeah and so i think that that's where a lot of the the heat came from or a lot of the kind of criticism is that sort of like, okay, Jaker, what do y'all want to be? Yeah.

Because it doesn't necessarily work to have a vision that is not cohesive in that way.

don't think they probably sat well with Bruce Weber and SIU either.

Courtney Love, the singer Courtney Love, Kurt's ex, she did a series of Bruce Weber shots in Vanity Fair wearing men's underwear that were just so gorgeous and compelling.

And we had...

We had Eminent Geldo Zenya, the famous high-end menswear company, as a client.

We had amazing birds from the Evelyn Alexander Wildlife Center, and of course, my beautiful horses, Grace the Backdrop.

It was such a wonderful event filled with folks that really walk the talk for our animals in need, including many well-known faces like Christy Brinkley, Broadway legend Daryl Roth, Candy Queen Dylan Lauren and one of the most amazing photographers, Bruce Weber, philanthropist Gene Shafroff, and of course, all of the executives and amazing donors to Best Friends.

And co-founder Francis Batista was also here to celebrate what this organization does and continues to do every day to change the world for animals in need.
