But this is the latest feature film, uh, from Jane Schoenbrunn who had a cult hit, uh, really with, with, I saw the TV glow.
It was a, it was critically acclaimed.
I think, uh, the people who did see it, it wasn't a ton of people, I don't think it did super well financially, but the people who did see it tended to like it and now follows it up with this one.
I know you were a fan of I Saw the TV Glow.
I liked it as well.
I think there's a lot of good stuff there.
Where was your head at heading into this one?
Um, I was in, I was a bit stressed because I loved, I saw the TV glow so much.
Like it was a five, five star movie for me.
It was either my number one of that year, number two.
So just really, it's just one of those things when someone creates something so special, you're kind of anxious to see how they'll follow it up.
Same goes with like music and, and things like that.
So, um, I was very nervous, but obviously excited and waiting for the next thing.
Yeah.
I, I didn't know what to expect.
I saw the TV glow was such an interesting film and, and just something that was unlike anything I had ever seen before, which I always feel like is a huge accomplishment when you can create something that's just so unique.
So I was, I was definitely eager to see this one and I've, I've never seen the first.
We're all, we're all going to the world.
Yeah.
I was just going to ask that.
Because I think what was so interesting about I saw the TV glow was that it like slightly expands its scope.
Yeah.
So it's a little bit bigger.
And I was waiting to see if this new film would do that.
And I do think it does.
