Sam Wood: What Happens When It’s the Good Guy?

It's been a heavy couple of weeks.

We have been covering, as you know, the Lindsay Clancy trial, which of course is came to a head on the 29th of September where Kevin Reddington, as you might have seen in my stories, really just came out swinging and every single theory that many of us have been discussing online about the lack of investigation and the holes in the timeline and And the medical and the forensic evidence either not being there at all or not adding up and not even making scientific sense was all there.

He said everything.

And he also made a few little subtle comments about Patrick, which I thought was very interesting.

He made a little comment about Patrick's change of shoes in the two sets of video footage that we have from his alibi, quote unquote.

But unfortunately, because the juror that was the holdout juror has now obtained legal representation, that kind of slowed things down.

That lawyer wants to have some evidence that has been sealed by the judge.

And so the whole thing is being pushed off until November 2nd.

There were also a number of other motions that the defense were ready to argue that the prosecution was just was not ready to argue, which I find very interesting.

Now, one of the other things that Reddington said is that he would not be available for a retrial until June.

And a lot of the brilliant online creators like Salty Lunatics and Kim Baramida, I hope I got that right.

You know, when you follow people and you like comment on their work and everything, but you're not entirely sure of the proper username.

Anyway, they have been making incredible content.

And I think it was Salty Lunatics who pointed out that actually Judge Sullivan is set for a mandatory retirement.

in June of next year.

So I've been really quite heated about this, as we know, and the wait to November 2nd feels really long and really unfair, but I have to trust that Reddington knows what he's doing.

Apparently there are more sleuths.

Sorry, guys, I know this seems like a sleuth true crime show.

at the moment, but this is literally where we are in the world right now.

But some of the sleuths have said, or I don't know actually if this is just concrete proof or knowledge, that in fact Reddington has had a private investigator looking into everything for the last three years and he's the guy kind of smirking over Reddington's shoulder in a lot of his press swarms out the front of the courthouse.

So I think this is a watch and see.

I'm going to try to slow down on the consumption of Lindsay content for a bit because truly, I just feel like spiritually, I feel so drained.

I don't know about you guys, but there is something really kind of dark about in the world going on at the moment.

And I mean, we know it's been that way for a while for a number of reasons.

And it's just feeling like this is a particularly sticky and yucky time.
