Uh, but to start things off, I think you've really had a fascinating arc.
Um, you started in forest and land use economics, moved into carbon markets in the late '90s when it was just starting out, I think, and now you're leading a major energy and climate institute where I've had the privilege of working at a moment when energy policy globally is going through more turbulence than maybe, I think, any time in recent memory.
So when you look back at that arc, what's sort of the through line for you? What is it about the economics of energy, um, that's held your attention for this long?
