Now, look, the left-wing media claim that Republicans are elevating anti-Muslim rhetoric as a key part of their midterm pitch.

So this one, for example, from The Hill says, claims Republicans have cast Muslim Democrats as chief enemies in dangerous midterm pitch.

Now, at the Republicans' first ever midterm convention in Dallas, GOP figures called out New York City Mayor Zoran Mamdani and, of course, Abdul El-Sayed, two of the country's prominent Muslim American Democrats.

To press corps at the Capitol today, according to The Hill, he said, "After two years, two decades, actually, of dodging your questions, I wasn't sure how many of you would be here today." Close quote.

So apparently the man is alive and intends to go back to the Senate and continue his job.

Eighty-four years old.

And the USA has that in spades.

AI isn't the only issue on the Hill this week.

On the Senate agenda, a procedural vote on the Clarity Act crypto bill and a bill to regulate college sports.

The House could take up the Senate-passed Russia sanctions bill and another bill aimed at protecting ratepayers from the high costs of data centers.

Postal Service lacked the authority to issue it.

Politico's Kyle Cheney reports that U.S. District Judge Carl Nichols ruled that portions of the rule, quote, "...exceed any conception of the outer bounds of USPS authority and that the agency has no role in election regulation." The Supreme Court was already considering an emergency request from the Justice Department to lift another judge's block on this Postal Service plan.

And The Hill's Zach Schoenfeld reports that decision could come any day now.

Now, what does that plan entail? Zach Schoenfeld writes, beyond the voter list requirement, the Postal Service would have states ensure their mail ballot envelopes meet specific design specs, including an official logo and barcode to be sent.

Obama, Kremlin, spent hundreds of thousands of dollars on the president's son.

What did he get in return? That question? As reported, by the hill has not been answered and on present form will not be because the participants don't care and are completely unaccountable for their venality.

This is a family that has never once been made to absorb the costs of being wrong and of course being immoral.

There is no mechanism it seems left in the American system that can impose a price on these people for their poor judgement and their greed.
