yeah amy k danny greg tito um and everybody else that was there um and then yeah there was a ccq going on at gen con you were not able to participate but i did play in it um i played the amber emerald the best deck uh that we've been talking about since episode like one of of this season right of this set um you talked about it potentially just being the boogeyman of the format.
Both of us have been really high on it.
I was able to go undefeated with it on day one and get into top eight.
Round one, I believe I played against... emerald steel uh round two i played a mirror match against kim the the caster from europe who you also you lent her your deck so she could play the same thing as me uh and it was kim was
going to play amber sapphire princesses and i know she loves that deck and i know she spent a lot of time building and playing it and testing it but i said kim let me hand you this deck and give you like a few pointers on the mulligan stuff yeah and Show up with this, please.
Don't make it a miserable experience for yourself.
And she was doing really good.
She was undefeated until, I think, the last round.
Well, she lost to me.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
She lost to me.
She played you round two, lost.
She was one win away from making it into the top.
Yeah, she got 10th, I believe.
So just shy.
But I'll take that.
I mean, if both my students did very well with the deck, The only reason why she didn't make top cut is because she lost to you.
I mean, that's a dub right there.
I think that was a good call.
Yeah, that's a major dub.
So I played her in round two mirror match.
Round three, I played against Amber Steel.
Round four, I played against Amethyst Steel, and this was, like, the biggest sweat.
It came down to, like, one turn where I was able to get exact Cs in game three to get over the finish line, and I was on the draw.
They weren't playing bots.
