Jaissle meets the press & Everton rock NUFC in Edinburgh

Right, then let's get through some headlines before we do anything else.

Uh, here we go.

George, yours first.

Shaky hands man, Geisler, uh, meets the press, but is he a stand-up guy?

Um, there's something to unpick there, isn't there? Yeah, Matthias Geisler was introduced for the s- second time, um, as, uh, Newcastle United's head coach, having done a brief, uh, media appearance out in Spain.

He did the same thing at St. James' Park, and he began that by shaking hands with absolutely everybody in the room-

Well done

... which, nice little touch.

Took quite a long time.

Um, and then spoke.

And I think if we are to be learning anything from, uh, from, from this, it's that we should not be expecting verbal pyrotechnics from the new head coach.

But very composed, very c- confident.

I saw a lovely little clip of that on, uh, the BBC Sports, uh, Instagram page, and the, the first two people that I saw when the video loaded was the back of your head, George, and then the side of Chris's face.

And I thought, "There they are."

Yeah, and just, just to-

The Waldorf-Statler of the press room

... just to interject on that, I know we are doing the headlines, and it's a very formal part of the show, but, um, um, if I'm spotted, um, at Dr. Sink's surgery in, in Turkey anytime soon, I, I mean, that will be a coincidence.

Um, film, as we, as we now know to our own cost, is a fairly unforgiving, um, medium.

It certainly is.

You can get away with a lot just recording, um, uh, audio.

So yeah, there may, you may notice some changes.

Lovely stuff.

Right then, uh, a Toonnel eclipse.

Everton overshadow Newcastle in, uh, in Edinburgh.

Chris?
