Elephant trail race and Tor Des Geants training update!

Unusually so.

Where were we?

Where were we? I don't know.

Um, yeah, so-

So updates, okay.

So after the last podcast I just had that weird-ass fever, and I've still got a cold sore scar from that day too, and I had a weird back pain, and we did it on the Friday, and I had the weird back pain again where I was dropping painkillers like nobody's business during the night because I literally couldn't sleep and I was writhing in agony.

Um, still got up and did my 37-kilometer run hike.

Um-

Um-Like 37 and 3,000 meters or something like that

Yeah, that's right.

And then that night, then the pain was gone.

So I Googled and it was says, oh, it's probably to, it was, would've been a virus, some sort of virus.

So, you know-

Mm

... considering I was obviously fairly sick, I was actually okay.

Um, anyway, it was a great lead into the- [laughs]

... to the 100K.

And then, you know, because I was taking two rest days Thursday, Friday, I normally take a rest day Monday, but I didn't.

So we did 20Ks something, 20Ks on the Sunday.

Yeah.

Then on the Monday I did 10 easy Ks, but God, it was shit.

And I said that to you, "Oh, I really need my rest days on Monday."

Yeah.

And it's funny 'cause I never, for 15 years or more, I never took a rest day.
