H- how did you hear about this idea?
[laughs]
It just seem, it just seems to make sense, and I've done loads of intercropping trials and different experiments before, and I thought this was kind of the next step.
So how did you become involved in consulting at quite a young age? You say you've been doing that for 10 years.
I did it on my placement year from Harper, um, and I've worked for d- various different firms.
Just 'cause a lot of the paperwork surrounding agriculture is a complete pain, to be honest with you.
A lot of the schemes and grants and everything like that, they can become extremely complicated.
I mean, we've had, in the last 10 years, 15 or so different versions of various forms of stewardship and versions of said schemes.
Mm-hmm.

Does that make up the bulk of a farm consultant's lot, then?
I did a lot of contract farming agreements and other sort of agreements, cash flows.
Um, previous one that I worked before, that was a lot of business analysis and appraisals.
