Guys, today we're talking about being a mom and having a job, okay? I know there are all kinds of moms who listen to this, and I have been all kinds of moms as well, almost all kinds of moms.
I've never been a work outside of the home while being a mom, but I have a guest today who's done all kinds of versions of that, and so she's going to share with you too, but I'm I just thought this would be a good encouraging topic, if not for you, for friends in your life who battle this internal juggle of having some kind of work that God's called you to do, whether it's something that you want to do, that you're passionate about, or whether it's something that you need to do in this season to help financially support your family.
Whatever it is, I know there's all kinds of reasons that moms work and there's all kinds of jobs.
And I just hope that this episode is encouraging for you to hear from other moms who've done it.
I was a teacher and I had told my job, hey, I'm about to have my first baby.
So I stayed home with her for a year and I tell her about it all the time.
I was like, Ever, I know you don't remember this, but I just stared into your little baby face and snuggled you and took you to the park like it was just me and you and no other responsibilities for a year.
And then like when she was one, I was like, I've always wanted to be a writer.
