Laura JenzGuestIt says, we know that the whole creation has been groaning as in the pains of childbirth right up to the present time.
Not only so, but we ourselves who have the first fruits of the spirit grown inwardly as we wait eagerly for our adoption to sonship, the redemption of our bodies.
quote, groaning as we wait for redemption, as we eagerly, as we wait for adoption.
But like when I think about, you know, biological kids, like there's a very animal-like thing to that.
You grow a baby in your body and then you have this like physical, natural connection.
And One thing I got trained on when I was in the adoption process was attachment and how it's not natural in the adoption relationship.
Like when I was having baby James, they told me he was a boy because his DNA was floating around in my blood.
But like we share DNA, you know? So the attachment is like already there as soon as he's born.
And what a beautiful... thought it's like you know it's more like a marriage situation it's like I don't love you because we share DNA I love you because I chose to love you and you know when I think about God and his love for me how what a gift that God knows the worst of the worst things about me he knows my worst thoughts and my worst moments that I don't want anybody else to know and he still chose to love me and adopt me into his family the Bible says while we were still sinners Christ died for us We live in a world where things are not as they should be, okay? Children should never experience abuse, neglect, abandonment, or family separation.
