Page 331 - The Promise of Allāh عَزَّوَجَلَّ for the Righteous

In this lesson of Sūrah Al-Anbiyā’, verses 101-112, Shaykh Dr. Aḥsan Ḥanīf explains the reward prepared for the believers, the events of the Day of Judgement, and the mercy of Prophet ﷺ. Allāh عَزَّوَجَلَّ describes how those who were promised goodness will be kept away from the punishment of Hell, protected from the greatest terror, and welcomed by the angels with glad tidings of the eternal blessings awaiting them. The verses remind us of the certainty of resurrection, when Allāh عَزَّوَجَلَّ will recreate creation and the righteous servants will inherit the earth. The lesson also highlights that the Qur’ān is a reminder and guidance for those who worship Allāh عَزَّوَجَلَّ, and that Prophet ﷺ was sent as a mercy to all worlds, calling people towards the worship of the One true God. These verses serve as a powerful reminder of the importance of faith, submission, and relying upon Allāh’s judgement and mercy.
