all righty gentlemen welcome back to another episode of final settlement today is monday september 21st 11 39 a.m eastern standard time and we are back we are live bitcoin price is back we're at 86 000 dollars per bitcoin quite the little rip overnight into this morning michael liam thanks as always for joining me how are we doing where's this pump coming from Hard to say.

I think there's definitely some short liquidations that are in play here that exacerbate any movement.

But I think this is a continuation of really this, you know, call it a 30, 35% move that we've seen over the past decade.

I think it's just a continuation of that, a recognition of the Treasury's actions.

And, you know, like I said, maybe three months or so ago, it's like, you know, Bitcoin is this weird thing where it finds this natural equilibrium, this bottom starts moving back up and it's sort of self-fulfilling in its nature in terms of people recognizing, hey, maybe this thing isn't actually dead.

Yeah, I mean, I think the wild part is it doesn't bode well for what we do every week.

bodes okay for the commentary and m a and trends but like when you think about anybody pontificating around uh the price and where it's going in the even short to middle term because you can make the case we don't have to here but like the price should not be trending up between the interest rates between clarity failing like uh and it's just uh it's the kind of thing that Nobody knows.

What's really crazy is that we don't have the right conditions for the price to be moving.

What happens when that eventually does happen, when things start to break? I feel like we're going to be in a good spot.

But I think that ties also into why we needed this natural retrace and a lot of the plumbing to get in place before this thing can really take off.

A lot of ill-gotten euphoria and unsustainable economics, just both from people individually who took on too much leverage, thought this thing was going up forever, as well as companies out there, too, and all the silliness.

I mean, since like February, there's been almost no discussion of it outside of negative factors like the fact that the clarity hasn't passed, et cetera.

A lot of euphoria and doesn't necessarily make sense why we're going up right now, but I think that almost always happens with bear markets around this time.
