[upbeat music] Your GRC is a collection of capabilities, and that collection of capabilities, um, allows you to simultaneously produce value while also preserving that value that you already have.

And, um, with those notions in mind, what you wanna, uh, leave as an impression with, uh, executive management and with, uh, with your board is effectively, um, whatever efforts that you're going to be making, the cap- the risk capability or the GRC capability that you maintain in that organization should always be focused on that idea of when we are achieving our objectives, the outcome of that should be value produced or value protected from the objective we're trying to pursue, while also acting with integrity.

You wanna make sure that we're always very clear about there should be no shortcutting, um, the, the virtue of integrity, I guess, whenever you're operating in that sort of environment.

Sometimes you might need to do the, uh, the, the more involved pathway to achieving an objective, um, because that will mean that's the one that's preserving the integrity of the organization and its people.
