Are you guys ready for this banger of a delicious debate? Yep.
Which goalie had a better game?
The numbers say Jari, but
is
that
true? I'm going with Devin Levi because I just saw a tweet, and I probably won't be there anymore, but it was...
first on first tries i think lee or sorry i think jari let in six goals on first tries and uh levi was four and then i feel like if the goalie makes the first save it's up to the defense to try and help out at that point i feel like we got beaten down in front of our net a couple times in both games so just because that one single stat of first shot or first try goals levi's got him by a little margin
dan I give Levi a pass just because I expected more out of Jari.
I don't know.
There was no poise.
There was no fight back.
There was nothing.
It felt like it's the same dude we saw last year struggling, still struggling.
So, yeah, for me, Levi has the excuse, too, of like a slow-ass start to that game.
He had two shots against in the first period.
Yeah, stopped him.
Yeah, exactly.
Key to the game there, he stopped those.
But, yeah, it felt like just like an avalanche of mistakes and issues for Levi versus Jari where it was just bad all around.
Thinking of the human side of a 24-year-old getting a first start with a new organization, probably nervous.
