The Wedding Planner (2001)

What are you obsessed with this

week? I have been watching this show on BritBox called Outrageous.

It's a six episode series based on this real group of sisters, the Medford sisters, the Mitford, sorry, the Mitford sisters.

And they were a real family in the 30s.

And each sister, they were like big in like the, they always had a scandal.

One of them was always like doing something crazy.

And it's a really fun series.

It kind of.

It sort of on the surface feels very like Marie Antoinette, like these crazy rich girls.

But then it sort of very slowly becomes about how like fascism is a slowly creeping like serpent that like wraps itself around your neck and then you like can't escape it.

And also it really like, I don't know, it's really good.

It's funny.

It's also like deep.

I think it's a really interesting... show for these times fun um yeah it's just it's so well acted a lot of women in it obviously there's like these six sisters awesome like 1930s music and fashion when did it come out the show it came out last year 2025 okay That's

great.

Outrageous.

And I'm watching it on BritBox.

It's only six episodes.

So I've just kind of had it on while I'm like working on stuff.

And it's excellent.

Highly recommend.

That's so fun.

Yeah, I'll probably finish it tonight actually.

Cool.
