We're up to final thoughts now.

And probably the hardest part of the entire podcast this season, we're going to recast one role with the beautiful, the lovely, the immensely talented Amy Adams, who was wonderful and everything.

She would light up this film too, but who do you replace? Who do you recast with Amy Adams in this film? And I say that this is tough for me because I don't want to lose anybody.

I eventually came on a name who I think is going to do as well as the actor who did play this role.

But I don't think she could do better because I don't really think he can do much better than the cast we got.

Who did you choose for the Amy Adams recast? It really was tough, this one, I think.

Because if you look at Anne Hathaway's character, Penelope, first of all, Amy Adams doesn't really have the bone structure to be a Greek queen, which I know... that is a superficial thing but there is something there that bearing and you know presence in that role Anne Hathaway has that and I don't think Amy Adams has so I ended up going with Mia Goss or Maya Goss character Melantho because she's Amy Adams can do that sort of that conflicted role really, really well.

You know, where you can tell that, I think, you know, Melanthos kind of caught up in this too.

Very specific.

We're talking Amy Adams, who is playing a character named Chris, and then you have Steve Buscemi, Natasha Lyonne, Aaron Murphy, Harry Greenwood, and Sophia Bryant-Talkiri.

That is a profoundly eclectic cast.

Yeah.

When you put Amy Adams, Steve Buscemi, and Natasha Lyonne in the same room, you are sending a very clear signal to the audience.

It really is.

Seeing names like Buscemi and Lyonne immediately signals a very specific quirky indie vibe.
