And he is being... hired by a tech billionaire and once you see who's playing him though you know that it's a reference to elon musk to build a apocalyptic bunker it's funny that at the at the world premiere at the end there was a 15-minute standing ovation the critics did not go over this movie at all and then you see penelope cruz sobbing and i wonder it's perhaps because she just watched her movie in its totality but it is bugged with these extremely heavy-handed metaphors about wealth disparity and the bunkers within all of our souls.

At one point, Penelope Cruz says to Javier Bardem, oh, you're building a bunker in your heart or whatever.

Come on.

The problem is the performances are good and I think that The only way it will travel is because it will attract interest with the fact that this is a real life couple.

That's very interesting.

And one of Hollywood's and European cinema's most glamorous couples, Javier Bardem and Penelope Cruz were in Venice as well.

Yeah, we had, they have very much pivoted towards Europe because I, partly because they've been so outspoken on Palestine and it's very clear they're not getting as much work in the United States.

But, you know, they're still getting great films and one of them is Bunker, that's their new film by Florian Zeller.

It, It stars Cruise and Bardem as this sort of fabulous couple, as they are a fabulous couple.

There is one very telling moment when his ex-partner Ashley Sinclair is asked about his drug use and she simply says, I can't talk about that.

and of course she can't and most people i think at some point would have had to say i can't talk about that because you know that's the way those people are it's quite interesting actually that in a really not very good film here um called bunker by florian zeller florian zeller the architect played by Javier Bardem is asked to sign a non-disclosure agreement even before hearing the name of the billionaire he's being asked to work for, who is clearly modeled on Musk and played by Paul Dano.

And then we see him without his clothes on largely.

And you see, I mean, Javier Bardem is a good-looking guy, and you sort of see him in a different context.
