To work kind of, uh, what I'm realizing is going from, like, zero to 1,000.
My brain has been occupied by survival, like we kind of keep talking about, and it's like, oh, I think I actually was forgetting how to actually work and actually do my job, and then how to do it at the super intense level [laughs] that I, I was not prepared for.
Like, do, do I actually know how to do this anymore? And I think that's, like, something that is such a risk of where we are work-wise right now.
Like, not working is its own job, so to jump into actual work, like what you're actually good at, there are gaps in it.
Like, you start to lose that, that skill set, and that was a little weird.
But then by the end of the week, I was like, "Okay," like, "I know how to do this." And the weekend was good, 'cause it was...
Uh, I had a friend in town, and that apparently is the only way I go do things, um, around here.
You know, like, have someone here and have the kind of days that I had, like, when you were visiting.
Like, go to one thing, and, like, how about we go through a shop, and then let's go get some drinks.
And already all of that feels so long ago, because right now I'm looking out my window and Portland has the number one worst air quality in the world.
I mean, it used to feel really isolated to places like California, and it's coming every- I mean, look at what's happening with Europe this whole summer.
