The fall college tennis season is back and we catch up on all the September storylines after a few weeks away. What newcomers stood out in the first few weeks and who’s making a run at All-Americans?…
Adam DruckerGuestJohnHostSo Adam, what has really been going on prior to All Americans? It's been a little bit lighter.
We love the Kitty Harrison.

And that's like the, that was the major women's event, but I didn't feel like there was a major men's event.

They also had, like, a round robin sort of s- women's thing where they had some players from NC State there, LSU, Auburn, Texas Tech.

It was, it's been a very weird start for the men's side I feel like for, for this college tennis fall season, but the women very much in full swing.

Kitty Harrison went back to its original flight format versus the hidden duels that we got last year, and I very much preferred.

I like when, you know, you have the top sort of tiers and you can see it all pan out.

You're not just kind of finding out as the matches c- sort of happen the n- as in the next morning.
Well, and certainly now that we've moved permanently to having the NCAAs in the fall, you would think that the fall is going to be exclusively individual play bracket format rather than try and do a hidden dual format.
You want your potential number five to play someone who could be playing number one.
Uh, and so I think that- Schools, coaches are probably still trying to figure out what the right version of the fall looks like.
Uh, and this is gonna continue to evolve certainly as, we'll talk about this a little bit later on, but some players prioritize playing pro entirely in the fall.
Because even during that two-year pilot, everything kind of stayed the same.
Like, we didn't make a ton of changes, and now I think that it's permanent.
You know, I, I imagine we're gonna see more different types of events in the fall, budget changes happening.
So yeah, we're in this, like, weird hybrid moment right now.
