UFC Outburst and the Limits of Free Speech: Michelle Obama, Lawsuits, and Public Backlash

They have a big UFC event on the front lawn of the White House.

They built a whole wrestling arena, a square arena for that.

And they had all these...

Preliminary fights leading up to the big fight.

But there was one particular fight where, and I'm not even going to mention the guy's name, but I just want to call him a knucklehead.

That's what I want to call him.

He gets up.

He's being interviewed after the fight by Joe Rogan.

And the guy takes the opportunity to say, after the interview, he says, oh, and another thing.

And he just blurts out, Michelle Obama is a man.

And he laughs and he gives the mic back to Joe Rogan, who's also laughing.

And he walks off.

He walks out of the room.

On his way out, another laughing person shakes his hand.

And that was the guy in D.C. or the guy they call president, you know, shook his

hand.

And he was laughing, too.

Now, I understand, you know, freedom of speech is something that we all value, something that we have a right to do and a right to have.

But sometimes you can take it too far.

And I think in all that goes on in social media,

hmm.

all that goes on in social media and on TV and all the different media types, we have stretched it to the limit.

And when a guy goes live like that and in a wrestling, I mean, in a UFC fight, and there's tons and tons of people there, and he says something against a former first lady, especially something that makes a reference to her sexuality or, you know, as far as her being something other than what she presents herself to be, that's just not right.

I know when I heard it, when I saw the video and heard it for the first time, I was appalled.

Regardless of the relationship, whether you like Michelle Obama or not, she didn't deserve that.
