Dagan DavisHostSo I began an initiative, this, so I've been here with a company two and a half years.
And so two years ago, we started an initiative called Always Jonesboro.
And Always Jonesboro is kind of like that centralized location where you can go on social media.
And that could be, so it's living, working, and building your life here.
So for example, living, so we have, you know, housing, like what's going on there, work, job opportunities, but also like really what is happening in the city, what are the updates? What do people need to know if somebody wanted to move here? How can I find my community? Will I feel like I belong here? So, so we started that initiative.
And, and one thing that also sets our Always Jonesboro initiative apart is that we're not just kind of guessing what people want to see.
We're not just like, okay, I think, you know, highlighting this restaurant would be really cute.
But we have done our market research on why people relocate to cities.
So what influences their decisions, what actually makes someone stay in a community.
And so the data has been really clear for us because people, while yes, they move for jobs, but they really stay because they find belonging in a city.
And we've done the research of what are those top lifestyle factors that people are looking for when they relocate.
While tourism is a big part of it, we're in the talent attraction business.
So it's not really like come for a weekend, which is what tourism is, even though that's very much a part of it.
And so the story we're trying to tell is that Jonesboro is a warm community, that it's genuinely warm.
