But some people have taken that to mean that Tolkien would not have us, uh, form any kind of clear, positive relationship between his fiction and primary world reality.
And so today, as we continue through this Lord of the Rings study, I'm going to discuss a bit about Tolkien's approach to allegory, uh, as well as applicability of, of fiction in his stories in particular.
And then on Thursday, we will continue with The Fellowship of the Ring, uh, looking at chapters six through 10 of book one.
