He also says that government intervention and additional dollar availability could help bring the parallel rate toward approximately 155,000–156,000 dinars per $100. جريدة المدىImportantly, Kojar also clarified that these are Iraqi funds—not U.S. government money being sent to finance Iraq's budget. He said the expected funds are intended to support the exchange rate rather than the budget itself. جريدة المدىAnd this comes after Iraq's major exchange-rate change earlier this month. The new structure sets the Central Bank's purchase rate at 1,500 IQD per dollar, the bank rate at 1,510, and the public/end-user rate at 1,520.
