I'm with Maddox, um, and a very interesting car I've never seen on the track.

Um, I did say a little earlier that I have seen plenty of Bristol powered cars on the track, but never one complete.

So this is a 403.

What year?

So it's a 1953, uh, car that, uh, it was brought into Australia.

There was a doctor in Adelaide who bought the car.

And my father saw the car in the back of a garage.

It was in pieces.

And this was, I think, in 1973.

And then he then just put it together and got the car running.

It took him about five or six years.

And he used a lot of different guys from the Bristol clubs and from, actually from the Rolls-Royce club at the time as well.

And they put the car together.

And my father was driving the car.

So I was born, I'm what, 45 years old now.

So I was born in '81.

So this was the car that my father used to drive as a kid.

Yeah.

And so I actually remember growing up in this car as a kid and going on family holidays.

We drove it to Melbourne.

We drove it to Queensland.

And, and so it was a car that I grew up with.

And then in about 1999, I would have been 18, the engine blew up.

And so the car was kind of put into a shed.

And, uh, my father tried to get it rebuilt and they managed to rebuild the engine.
