Peter VaughanGuestI would like a van conversion but find they're too full of furniture and nowhere to put the dog beds down.
Do you have any suggestions for vans or do I need to go to a larger one, which I don't really want to do? Thanks," says Rob in Cheshire.

Maybe something like the Devon Aztek or many others like those from the converter Consort.

But remember, the dog must be crated and secured when you're traveling or fixed to a seatbelt mount.

And if you've got a rear lounge, the likelihood is there are no seat belts in the rear.

Now, I saw a little motorhome recently that had a rear lounge and the owner had added two additional seatbelt mounts to the existing bolts.

They'd unbolted the seatbelt and put two additional, uh, seatbelt sockets in there.

I thought it was a genius idea because they could then put the dog in a harness and clip it into these spare seat belts.

So they only had two seatbelt mounts, but now they've got four seat belts so they could secure the dog, keep the dog safe and them safe.

And this is a legal requirement to travel with the dog clipped in, so be mindful of that.
