We talked with Drew about how he built a business creating high-quality content with AI and what it takes to scale without sacrificing quality. We also dive into why creators should stop chasing…
My first question to you is, have you noticed better growth on alternate platforms other than X? Because coming from Web3, everyone tends to be a Twitter X person posting a lot.
In my opinion, it's two whole different categories of type of socials, right? There's like the platforms like Twitter where you probably can access like a CEO of a company in his DMs because nobody's on there.
Well, nobody, because like it's less, there's less people that it's the goal to connect with people, right? So you can grow on Twitter if you're in like finance AI, but if you're outside of that niche, run to other socials.
Like those algorithms are made to push your content to people who have similar interests.
And it's in there, like it's their goal to run ads like above your reels.
If people see it, they want people to see your content.
So I would say go on other platforms.
I'm going to take Clement as an example, you guys.
Like, yeah, he's the prime example of like, hey, he's get he gets 11K like impressions on Twitter, but he gets a 1.2 mil on Instagram.
And the reason is it's simply because of how the algorithms work.
Yeah, I always I always thought of Twitter as like like a room with your friends.
Yeah.
That's kind of always how I like I visualized it of like, OK, like maybe if like you're talking like with your friends, like something could spread and like become a trend.
talking with your boys like, oh, it's like this thing I made, blah, blah, blah.
Like, I don't know.
nobody does gm posts on instagram and tick tock right that's where you kind of get it it's like people say good morning or was like hey good morning we're on this same boat today coins going up coins going down whatever happens instagram and tick tock nobody cares right like on twitter everybody all the content you see is content of people you you usually know right yeah but on other socials if i were to be like hey name me the five last creators that you consciously know you watched and there's nobody you're like oh i just saw a piece of content watched it because it good but i don't know those creators so it's so different but i love it though It's great.
But I think what makes it good now is a lot of these, the ones that you see being successful is the authenticity they're putting into their content.
You know, I don't think, personally, I think that like when you're overdoing it now with AI, it's almost like, If you're using AI, you have to make sure to also inject yourself into the content, right? Because I think people can get lost in like, oh, too much AI in the edit or too much AI in their piece.
How do you feel about like integrating AI into your workflow and overall just inside of social media these days?
