Like, it could have turned into a pretty game if David keeps the puck on the breakaway in the first, if they connect on a two-on-one, if Pavel Zaka scores on the breakaway.
So there was, there was opportunities for that, but, but no, all in all, it was, it was a bit of a slog fest and, and the, the goalies and the defense certainly have a huge advantage early in this shortened preseason regular season.
I don't know how many times you can say it as a broadcaster, as an analyst, but, oh, that was a good defensive recovery.
And both goalies are that good, top five, if not top three right now in the National Hockey League, able to see the puck make the saves.
But to me, this year even more, I think it's going to be, I think instead of five games in, six games in, I think it's going to take 10 games in for these guys to really get up to speed.
