Okay, I've just got one announcement to make just before we get into it.
I will try to keep it as brief as possible.
I did receive an email after last week's broadcast.
I know there's some people very upset with some things I said regarding the Australian Christian Party.
You said that I misrepresented who they were, what they stood for.
You said that what I said, I was wrong, that I shouldn't have based my answers on a quick three minute look at their website.
And they're basically not happy with what I said.
So look, I was willing to give the benefit of the doubt.
I did remove the comments I made from the upload before it went up online.
And look, I do apologise if I have misrepresented the Australian Christian Party in any way.
That said, many of the things I said last week, I cannot take back.
I cannot walk back and I cannot retract.
I still have the same concerns I had when I first visited the website.
And in fact, those concerns have only grown and have worsened since looking further at the website.
So I was told No, this isn't them.
They're not that.
Then I have to ask, why do you use the same language, the same phrasing, the same wording as the Dominionists, as the Socialists, as the Ecumenists, and even the world? Why did you choose, of all the policies and platforms you could have chose to run on, you chose two that are the biggest platforms that are being pushed in the Dominionist, Kingdom Now, Word Faith churches here in this country for the last 30 to 40 years.
I have to ask, why did you choose that and why are you using the same language? Now, To your credit, you did say that you would pass on my concerns to the committee.
You would submit them to the committee to look at, which I was encouraged by.
But further looking at your website, the concerns have just grown.
I thought, look, I'll have a look at your partnering with prayer page, which you have split into three categories.
And there's a special sign up for pastors.
where you want to help equip pastors to be able to set up prayer altars across the nation.
Yep, no worries.
