There's so much there that I wanna go back into.

Yeah.

I have felt, as you were saying, this lack of spirituality in political spaces, and then this lack of politic in spiritual spaces, and understanding how they are so linked because they're both talking...

We're talking about power is what we're talking about.

We're talking about resource, and it's my belief that one of the reasons why so many people feel so disenfranchised is not only political, but it's spiritual.

They don't have a spiritual home.

They don't know what their own energy feels like in their body.

They don't know what their source energy feels like.

They don't understand what...

They haven't felt what it's like to connect to source.

They haven't maybe experienced awe in relationship with the more than human world.

They haven't had supernatural or more than mundane experiences with magic or with awe or with consciousness expansion, and it's just as you said, it's this split that started so long ago with like Descartes and probably before that with this like mind body split of our emotions are thought to be less than when in reality our emotions slash our nervous system slash our trauma slash our background both from our family of origin and from ancestral lineages.

And then I wanna bring in depth psychology slash the unconscious and the subconscious, inner child, all of that.

Like, what we can't see, who we think we are, identity, like, defense, all of it.

It's all running the show, but people seldom acknowledge it [laughs].

You know? So I li- I like that you brought...

I really love that you brought that part in because I think a lot of people do feel the same way, and I too...

I can't believe we're not taught somatics.

I mean, I can believe, but I think it's, it's on purpose.

The same way we're not taught how to be in right relationship with ourselves and other people.

And nature, and finding our own way into spirituality versus religion and gatekeeping.

I mean, it's all about gatekeeping, power, control, resource, and even we spoke about...

We've spoken about this before, but I also do wanna bring this in for folks listening.

We talked about how even the study of somatics in the United States is very patriarchal coded in the sense that even getting to the point of regulation is thought to be emotionless, when in reality having rage or being in a fight response or being in a flight response or being in any kind of emotional response is completely normal and completely natural, and it's also threatening to certain people.
