Vikings Country: Will Fries 9-29-26

Here we are in Bloomington.

Cowboy Jack's, everybody.

Look at this crowd.

You guys are gorgeous.

How you doing? I am Muss.

Welcome to Vikings Country, presented by Miller Lite, the official beer sponsor of your Minnesota Vikings.

And we have a very special guest that we have here, and I'm so excited, and we're gonna talk about some things we talked about off the air that are disturbing to me.

Right card, number 76, Will Fries, everybody.

[cheers] It's awesome.

Thanks for having me.

Nickname's Spud, right? Is that the...

Does p- people call you that or-

That's correct.

Yeah.

Um, I think that's the first time publicly I've heard my, uh, my nickname be called, uh, here since- since I've been in Indy.

Uh-

In Indy

... that- that sounds about right.

Because when I got here and guys were calling me Will, it was kinda throwing me off.

Like, they, maybe they were behind me and, like, they would say, "Will," and I wouldn't turn around.

And then eventually, you know, w- w- when, uh, Ryan Kelly brought the, uh, the nickname-

Yes

... to everyone-

Yes
