i think there's one i'm going to be talking about properly but i do want to cover um a series of games actually that um helped me out over the summer as parents who listen to us will know six weeks is longer in august than it is at any other time of the year okay that august month is the longest month in the history of anything we know that it's worse than january That is because if you've got kids, they're off school for at least six weeks.
Now, as many people know, we're with me.
My daughter Edith, she plays football.
Unfortunately, it is the summer, so a lot of football activity stops.
She does have some, but we get a lot more free time.
And there's only so many times you can send her to walk the dog or so on.
And limited amounts of money to go places.
So you spend a lot of time at home.
This is where this series of games is, I think, excellent to have.
It's the first time I've really taken the time with them, and that's the Jackbox Party Pack games, originally known for You Don't Know Jack, which was just a pure trivia game that was... hosted, so to speak, and you'd all gather around and you'd play it.
And the hook of these games is they're presented on screen, but everyone plays on their phone.
And if you've got the code to get it on your phone, you can watch.
So you can kind of like, I believe the Giant Bomb crew used to do quite a few watch-alongs where people got involved and so on and so forth.
It's a really good selection of games you get, from straight-up trivia to just fun activity stuff to bluffing games based around the, I suppose, around the...
the among us style type thing where you've got to try and figure things out to a almost like cards against humanity type thing where you've got to fill in the blanks and then you know who put what and who's the funniest and all things like that so i got given or picked up a few of these got given a code for one of the newer ones which i think is 12 don't hold me to that there's loads of these things And we sat down one afternoon with nothing to do, all of us, and we played it and just had this really, really great time.
The host of it, he has got a name.
I can't remember what his name is, but he features throughout all of these games, essentially.
And what I like about these, they are family friendly.
And when I say family friendly, I don't mean along the lines of they talk down to you and make it stupid because it's kids.
It's family friendly in a way that everyone can play.
So my partner, she's not a big fan of using game controllers.
It's like...
Do you know like the homeless scene where he's at the office and he just runs around on the floor? Yeah, or that
