Good morning to everybody here in this room in Menlo Park or joining us at one of our campuses, whether it's San Mateo, Saratoga, my home in Mountain View, and everyone joining us online.

I'm the campus pastor at our Mountain View campus, and I'm so excited to be here with all of y'all today as we continue our journey.

Over the past couple weeks and in the weeks to come, we're looking at some of the world's largest and most influential faith traditions in order to kind of look in ways that we can understand to learn more.

Our hope is that we're approaching this with respect, with honesty, with a fair view of what they believe so that we can then go and hopefully know our neighbors a little bit more, love our neighbors a little bit more.

One of the things you'll hear at Menlo is we want to be a church that is for the Bay.

And so with this series, we're hoping that it helps us know our neighbors more so that we can love our neighbors more.
