Today's message is, What Was I Thinking? How many times have we sat there and said, "How, what was I thinking?" One thing we don't want is God to say, look down and say, "What was I thinking?" We want Him to be able to say, "That's the apple of my eye.

I can look at him and say he resembles me." That's what we want God to eventually say.

And He does, but sometimes I'm sure He's up there and He's like, "What was I thinking?" I've done it many times.

Why did I do it that way? One of the things, and I was gonna read to you Romans 12:1-2.

It says, "I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which you are r- your reasonable service.

And be not conformed to this world: but be, but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is good, and acceptable, and perfect, and the perfect will of God." What I wanna get on that part of it right there is, guys, we can sit there and be like the world, but are we doing what we're supposed to be doing? We need to stand up and say, "You know what? I'm not doing that anymore." I mentioned earlier that I was kinda going into my message, and that's exactly what it is.

What was I thinking? Why did I do it like that? Why don't I change? I need to be different.

I, when I walk, I need people to look at me and be able to say, "That's a man of God.

He's a Christian." If you were in court right now and the judge looked at you, would he be able to say, "I know you're a Christian," because of how you walk? If you were gonna be a, shot at, and they're gonna say, "Is, is that really a Christian?" Would they be able to do that? Because one day it might happen.

Poor girl died, but she stood up and said, "I'm a Christian." How many of us can sit there and really say that? And it, maybe we don't even have to say it.

Um, and one of the things he told that lady, he says, "I'm not gonna shoot y'all 'cause y'all are Christians," is what he told them because how they treated him that, during that time.

I'm just saying be careful because sometimes they might say, "Because of how you treated me, I know you're a Christian." We need to change our thinking.

We always try to be like God, but the thing is, is our thoughts are not like God's, and God's thoughts are not like ours.

It says, um, "God's thoughts are not our thoughts, neither are His ways our ways." Amen? Amen.

And then what I want you to do is, is as you walk the walk, as you're walking it, you're thinking it, it's in your heart, you gotta live it.
