That maybe past a certain level, you know, the best doctors aren't just the ones who simply, you know, know the treatments or have the most, you know, incredible skills, but the ones who've, you know, really cultivated something harder to name and all these things you possess, you know, presence and curiosity, um, kindness, timing, and, of course, the ability to listen.

Do-- what do you think about that? I mean, do you think that becoming a better doctor be-- also means becoming a more developed human being?

And the reason why I'm gonna surprise you is that, you know, I'm in the OR, and the surgeon is operating on me.

... and, you know, having, you know, reasonable judgment, but he doesn't have to be particularly a nice person.
