Andreas, you-- We had our first Unmute event in New York.
The premiere of the Unmute New York session took place.
That's right.
Um, that is something very interesting, so let's start with that and, uh, give us some-
Yeah
...
some thoughts on what, on what happened-
Busy week
... yeah, and w- and what Unmute is.
Busy week in New York.
Um, well, for me anyway.
Then again, New York is always busy.
Um, so Unmute is, uh, an event series that, that really kind of originated in, in Europe, and it brings together a small room of, you know, handpicked or at least, uh, hand-approved, um, internal communications, uh, leaders.
People who, you know, are active practitioners, um, in larger corporations or, uh, who might be somewhat on the, on the, in, within the ecosystem, uh, and, uh, be part of that.
Uh, or who might also just be in transition at the moment, but who just have experience in this space and, uh, something to contribute to conversations about internal communications and, uh, you know, the challenges and, uh, possible solutions to those.
And so I experienced, um, my own first Unmute events, uh, while in Europe.
Um, you guys invited me to, for example, one of the labs, um, Max, that, that, uh, you helped facilitate in Berlin.
Um, and kind of getting to know this, this setup and scenario, I really enjoyed the, well, the free-flowing conversations.
Um, and I thought that that was something that I had not seen in the US within the internal comms space as much.
There are large, huge conferences for internal comms, uh, professionals, but the people we otherwise serve with Hypecast and what we do here, um, I don't recall there being kind of more or less informal gatherings where people either know each other, get to know each other, and come to a level of trust where you actually talk about challenges without, you know, uh, it being an issue to being publicized or something.
And so we, um, we wanted to bring this over to New York and, and start this, and this week on Wednesday, we had the first, uh, let's call it a pilot, um, you know, a gathering of, uh, of a couple of people.
I think initially there were, like, 15 or, or 18 on the list, and then as it happens, life happens, uh, you know, some people had to, had to cancel short notice.
And we ended up with a small group of 10, 12 folks.
Um, and I was really psyched.
It was, uh, a great conversation.
