Now, did you know, in March of 85, so, you know, just before the Easter's there, Mr. Gorbachev, you know, the guy with the birthmark there, he's from the Soviet Union, he became the General Secretary of the Communist Party, and it became an era, he started an era of reformation, form and changing relations between the Soviet Union and the West.

And don't you know, that was when Reagan made his famous speech, Mr. Gorbachev, tear down that wall.

Well, you know, isn't it interesting that Gorbachev became one of the most popular, you know, leaders of that time and did all this reform and started moving, you know, Russia forward and everything.

And the only thing most of us who lived to that time remember is he had a birthmark on his head.

And 85 was an important time for him, too, because it was, well, it wasn't the earliest days, but we were certainly aware of HIV and AIDS at the time.

It brought together many of the year's biggest music stars to raise money for For Ethiopian famine relief, because, you know, countries that don't have a strong national government like the US and UK, places like Ethiopia, they need help whenever there is a crisis like the HIV and AIDS

Live Aid was particularly, you know, for the famine, they raised so much money, you know, it's like, do they know it's Christmas time at all? Feed the world, you know, all those songs came from that era.

And it became, and this was an event that actually happened in London and Philadelphia, broadcast on television.

And tying it into kind of what you said with the HIV movement, there were a number of people like Freddie Mercury, who was just like the star performer of that.

And I want to say by 85, I can't be for certain, but people are at least aware of Rock Hudson's sexuality.
