Let's start with something a lot more surface level, your skin.
[gentle music] I have a story for you.
I was talking to my girlfriend one day, and she told me that she went on a date with this guy, and they had dinner, and it was okay.
Like, it wasn't, like, you know, amazing, but it was okay.
But the next morning, she woke up with a huge pimple.
And because she got this pimple, she took this as a sign that she should no longer see him.
So she, like, told him that, "Oh, I can't see you anymore.
Had a great time.
Bye." And honestly, when I heard this story from her, I was like, [clapping] "Valid," because I would have done the same.
And, like, I love being on the same wavelength as my girlfriends.
So, like, nothing that they say will, like, shock me.
You know? We all kinda have similar beliefs.
And I didn't even know that she believed this as well until she told me this story, and I'm like, "I believe that too." And that's because I had to learn this about myself.
I noticed that whenever I would be around people that really stressed me out, and they don't have to be, like, outwardly aggressive or, like, mean.
They just have to stress me out somehow.
Like, if they tell me a story about their life and they're making bad choices, it stresses me out I would get the largest, like, cystic acne breakouts, like the most painful ones.
And, like, I believe in science, okay? And so I'd let time pass and spend time with this person, and I would get cystic acne again, and I'm like, "It's a sign." So now I no longer talk to them.
And obviously there's, like, more reasons than that, but, like, that was, like, one of my signs.
It's like, I should have listened to my body earlier.
And, like I said, they don't have to be outwardly mean or aggressive or whatever.
They just have to stress you out somehow.
And, like, in this particular situation, like, I was stressing out about their life choices.
Like, they were making really bad life choices, and they're not listening to me when I tell them, like, "You should stop doing that.
You should make better choices" and they're, like, not doing it.
I'm like, "Okay, I can't help you if you can't help yourself." So anyway, that really gives me so much stress, and it shows in my face.
