So I want you to go into, because I've been there twice now.
I went when I was in middle school and then just last year.
China is a very daunting country because it's a lot different than what we know.
And there's a lot of restrictions that you've come to learn, I've come to learn.
So living in China, what are some things that we can expect to not have there, you know, no Google.
What are some things that we might take for granted? That's just not available there.
The technological difficulties that has been my greatest, one of my greatest like challenges here, um, You know, for example, those first few days of me just trying to prepare my lessons.
I can't open that.
So you have to...
Prepare to download apps and prepare to get used to some of the other Chinese applications.
So, first of all, I am able to use a lot of apps through the savior that is a VPN.
Which, what is that for people that don't know?
It is a tool that helps that hides your computer or your device's location and it acts like you're in a different location.
So, you know, I can say that I'm in Australia and then suddenly I'm able to use the apps that typically don't work, the Western apps.
So I use Let's VPN and Shadow Rocket.
so those are mine of choice you know the tiktok works but yeah china basically bans any app most apps most many apps that are that are not um chinese i can't say every because we're able to run zencaster i don't know where it's based but for some reason it's working and my vpn is not on yeah don't expect to be able to use like whatsapp um google maps instagram
So
definitely prepare a VPN if you are coming here in advance.
Get it downloaded.
Sometimes the free ones are not enough.
You need to pay.
Sometimes you just got to pay to get over the internet barriers.
