I’ve watched Letitia Wright since her early days on *Top Boy*, so having her on the podcast felt like a real full-circle moment. She’s gone on to become an iconic global star as Shuri in *Black Panther*, build her own production company and step behind the camera as a director.
We talk about the parts of success people don’t always see: what it feels like to look back and be proud, the courage it takes to face your fears, and the importance of keeping some things private. Letitia also shares some deeply personal thoughts on grief, faith and the industry she works in. And, of course, we put her popcorn knowledge to the test.
I came away feeling so proud of the journey she’s made. I first watched her as a young actress, and now she’s someone I hope my own children can look up to: hardworking, thoughtful and determined to make a difference.
