You brought up a very, very important point, which I want to talk about, and I want all of our listeners to really tune in right now.

And that is that independent authors have such a monumental task to get their book into people's hands and into eyeballs, right? Let's talk about that a little bit.

How can I and how can the listener right now best support you? And how can we get Dope Foot into as many hands as possible?

I mean, if you read Dopefoot and you love it, tell someone else about it.

Those analytics really do factor into a lot of, you know, decision making for agents and publishers and things like that.

That helps with the algorithm, you know, that'll help me get suggested to more people.

That puts more money in my publisher's pocket and fewer people in between me and my royalties, so why not? It might come with a sticker or some little extra something, something, so...

I reached out to a lot of bookstagrammers and YouTubers and TikTokers, and some of them have been really nice to me, hoping to make some lists, whether it's best reads of the summer or end of the year lists.

There are blurbs already on the cover, and you know, in the book, but, you know, as more people say great things about Dope Foot, it'll be great to put that out there.

You know, people who carry weight in the industry or, you know, people who have access to different audiences, that could potentially be huge.

But, you know, there's no set limit path you know it's not impossible we do have examples of indie published authors kind of going viral and then having you know big careers I think Eric LaRocca is a good example of that I think you know his book his book went viral a few months after its release you know there was a TikTok video I think that got a million views and he started to have his moment so it's not unprecedented it's rare But I'm going to do what I love.

If nothing else, I'm going to be going to horror conventions and literary conventions and festivals.

And if you're a publisher or an agent and you're looking for somebody who has this real kind of like go-get-em attitude, give me a buzz because I've got some other manuscripts holstered.
