Summer Is Summering: Grace, Porch Coffee & Saying No ☀️

It is summer.

Summer is summering.

Can you believe June is halfway over? What in the hell? I feel like everyone I know right now is going through a clunky, oh, this is how summer feels.

Like, okay, whoa, kids are home.

Whoa, routine out the window.

Whoa, work feels different.

Some of us are coming into our busy season.

Some of us are coming into our slower season.

But it's been fun.

And I've done so much self-reflection on my year of saying no in the summer.

I have said no to like 50 things in the last week and a half.

And it feels so good.

And I'm giving myself so much more grace than I would think I'm deserving of a year ago.

Like I'm doing my damn best.

And I know you are too.

And it's like I have, let's see right now.

Let's just take a peek right now.

And I tried to clean it up the other day.

I have a million calendar notifications.

I have stuff this week that has to get done that's just not, I don't know how it's possible.

There are not enough hours in the day.

And still, I'm just giving myself that grace.

And I'm maybe, hopefully, an example to you of like, we're doing the best we freaking can, babe.

We are doing the best we can.
