We have so many competitive races because we are a very varied political culture, right? We have some places that are stridently democratic and are full of Democrats.

Detroit, obviously, Saginaw, Muskegon, Lansing.

According to the UAW, there are 350,000 either retired or active members here in the state of Michigan.
