“Know Your Enemy!” - Part 1 (Discerning Satan’s Strategies)

Beloved, there is an old adage which says that in order to recognize a counterfeit, one must first study the genuine.

And there is much wisdom in that premise, especially when it comes to identifying the strategies of Lucifer, whose codename is Satan, meaning God's adversary.

Knowing God's word is mandatory and first and foremost in importance to being kept on guard against the enemy's deceptions and forgeries that have been orchestrated by him in his plan to rule in God's place, an agenda, by the way, that will never come to fruition.

There is also another factor involved in this spiritual warfare that holds great importance in our appropriating the victory that has already been won in Jesus Christ our Lord and his blood atonement sacrifice on the cross, which he sealed in glorious resurrection power.

And that is for us to know our enemy in light of the truth of God's word that exposes him.

Even in the natural military combat, it has been found that understanding the adversary translates into tangible strategic benefits, such as commanders predicting their moves and being able to anticipate the enemy's strategies.

bypassing traps, and avoiding ambushes.

It also ensures that those weapons are utilized precisely where they are needed.

How much more then should we know our enemy in the spiritual battles that are being waged against God's people with a deadly intention to rob, kill, and destroy? As is my custom, I would like to share a commentary with you by R.A.
